ASBESTOS ABATEMENT/MOLD REMEDIATION MONITORING AND CLEARANCES

Polytechnique has an on-call contract to provide hazardous materials services for the City of Beverly Hills Department of Public Works (CBH). Our team completed a project at the Greystone Mansion and Gardens, which is a city historic landmark and public park. CBH was preparing to renovate the pool house, which required an asbestos abatement and mold remediation. Polytechnique performed the monitoring and environmental clearance inspections for re-occupancy. This project had an aggressive completion schedule. At one location, the air quality clearance air sample didn’t pass and our inspector worked closely with the contractor to identify the area of concern, complete additional remediation, and achieve passing levels within 2 days. Polytechnique completed the project on time so that CBH could return this area for public use.
