WASTE CHARACTERIZATION STUDY AND RELATED INITIATIVES

Polytechnique conducted a comprehensive waste characterization study that included terminal and deplaned waste. Our team mobilized a field team and hand-sorted waste collected over a 24-hour period.

 

Polytechnique studied the data and recommended changes to the current waste collection program. Our team is currently leading food waste collection, liquids collection, and cardboard separation initiatives to improve waste diversion, reduce waste-related costs, and progress John Wayne Airport's environmental stewardship.
